She explained in televised statements that the drug “Hydroxychloroquine” was included in the treatment protocol for people with coronavirus from the first day.

She said: “We put him in treatment from the first day, and all the cases that were treated with him recovered greatly, and achieved great results in Egypt.”

She added: “When some research papers appeared demanding not to use it, we insisted on using it because we have scientific research evidence and reports that talk about its importance. And the research papers that criticized it receded and talked about its importance.”

“(N)umber one, generally well tolerated; number two, dizziness; number three, pruritus; number four, nausea/diarrhea. These are the side effects for the dosage that’s being asked to be administered,” he said. “The risks of these side effects are so minimal that Mr. Ng’s current situation outweighs that risk by one-hundredfold.”
