Frontline healthcare workers from Melbourne are being recruited to take part in a trial of the drug Hydroxychloroquine. Staff at St. Vincent’s Hospital are being actively recruited to take part in a clinical trial to see whether the drug hydroxychloroquine can prevent healthcare workers from contracting Covid-19 while they treat coronavirus patients.

These are the side effects for the dosage that’s being asked to be administered,” he said. “The risks of these side effects are so minimal that Mr. Ng’s current situation outweighs that risk by one-hundredfold.”
